Walt Frazier, full name Walter "Clyde" Frazier, is an American former professional basketball player, born March 29, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is widely recognized as one of the best point guards in National Basketball Association (NBA) history.

Frazier had an outstanding NBA career, primarily with the New York Knicks. He was selected by the Knicks as the fifth overall pick in the 1967 NBA draft and quickly emerged as one of the team's leaders.

Nicknamed "Clyde" because of his elegant lifestyle and sophisticated wardrobe, Frazier was known for his versatility on the court, exceptional game vision and fearsome defensive skills. He was a master at stealing balls and directing his team's play with calm and confidence.

With the Knicks, Frazier won two NBA championships, in 1970 and 1973. He was voted MVP (best player) of the NBA Finals in 1970, where he played a crucial role in the Knicks' victory against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Outside of basketball, Frazier is also known for his distinctive sense of style and his success as a sports commentator and businessman. He is a legendary basketball figure, whose legacy continues to inspire subsequent generations of players and fans.
